The Model RD snowplow is designed for smooth surfaces with few snowplowing obstructions and has good scraping characteristics.

BLADE TRIP

• Most widely used trip design worldwide over past 50 years
• Heavy duty wire trip springs – protects plow & truck against hidden, fixed obstacles under snow
• Full 7/8” hinge pins with 3/8” hinge plates for long life
• Works well for grading and back filling as well as snowplowing
• Up to 4 trip springs optional for all models

CONSTRUCTION

• 26”, 28” blade heights – Handle higher snowfall accumulations
• Lighter weight yet high strength – saving wear on vehicle
• Fully boxed 2 ½” x 2 ½” x 3/8” A-frame
• Boxed mounting hitch
• Standard 6” cutting edge
• Angle iron Lift Frame with angle iron cross bracing
• ​12 GA 304L Stainless Steel sheet - Non corrosive
  

HYDRAULICS

• Chain lift design – Higher stacking capability, greater mechanical advantage reducing strain on power unit & electricals
• Adjustable flow valve for soft or hard plow drop
• 30 degree angling capability – reduces truck pushing effort, tight corners accessible
• Adjustable relief valves protect against impacts
• Valves & coils are enclosed in a water tight steel cap
